Basic and Economy Folding Wheelchairs

Short Description
This is a low priced "one size fits all" (46cm/18" seat) folding wheelchair designed to accommodate basic transportation needs for people who do not require any major seating or postural support. The chair has an overall weight of 21kg. The rear wheels are fixed and cannot be removed. Transit model also available.

Upholstery
Vinyl slung seat with hand loops to assist folding of chair.
Backrest is also a vinyl sling and features a rear pocket.

Frame
Folding single crossmember with tipping levers at bottom rear of frame. Push handles have rubber hand grips.

Rear Wheels
609mm(24") in diameter with pneumatic tyres

Front Castors
203mm(8")in diameter, narrow profile solid rubber

Armrests
Full length, vinyl moulded

Footplates
Flip up for ease of access and are height adjustable

Brakes
170mm lever style - actual hand grip is 80mm long with a rubber grip
Push lever forward to engage brakes and push away to release

Models
Basic wheelchair has non-fold away footrests and fixed arm rests.
Economy wheelchair has fold-away footrests and removable arm rests.
