Short Description
A firm, supportive backrest designed for use in cars, chairs and wheelchairs. It is made of a curved metal frame with nylon mesh stretched across the frame, shaped to give support to the lumber area. Available in two models: standard and heavy duty. The heavy duty model gives extra support to people with a pronounced lordosis or "sway back".

Models:
The Heavy Duty model consists of more closely woven cord and more
plastic clips (which clamp the cord into position around the frame) than the standard model and provides more support for "heavier" people. It's struts are bent at a 45 degree forward angle offering added support. The struts on the Standard model are straight.

Options:
A fabric cover is available for both models. It is kept on the support by a draw string and can be removed for washing.
* To prolong life of the support it is
advisable to protect it from direct sunlight.
