Leonora

Short Description
Backcare Products make a range of powered lift and recline lounge chairs. This style of chair can be adjusted from a semi-standing position to a reclined position by means of a hand held control. Various sizes and models are available. Modifications can be made to the many of the chairs - speak to the supplier for details. Most chairs are readily available in the standard fabric colours.

. Seat depth on the Leonora and the Toronto can be increased by 40mm if required.
. Available in a wide range of fabrics including leather, vinyl and
upholstered materials. 50 fabric choices.
. Able to alter operating switches if required.
. Can add drop-in arms for sideways transfers to most models.

Chair for people of large stature:
A new model of the Toronto is designed for larger people. It will take people weighing up to 200kg (approx 30 stone). It has twin motors, and the lift/recline mechanism is approx. three times the strength of that on the Standard Toronto.

For taller people, 50mm extra back height and 40mm extra seat depth is possible in the Toronto.

Chairs for people of small stature:
* The Nordic Standard is suitable for smaller people.
* The Toronto Recliner Chair can also be customised to suit people who find the Toronto Standard model too large.

Models
Leonora:
A larger chair with a body hugging effect and a medium -soft feel. Firmer lumbar support than standard Toronto.Options of adjustable seat depth, height adjustable glides, neck cushion. Castors available - not for use with occupant in place.

Toronto:
A chair with a soft feel. It incorporates a 3 pillow back which can be filled to suit user. Available as Toronto Standard, Toronto Extra Large (with twin motors) or Toronto Extra Small. Option of 3 way full recline.
Bariatric model available.

Nordic:
A compact chair with narrower backrest and armrests and a firm feel.
Available in a Standard or Tall size. Castors available - not to be used with occupant in place.
A 150mm higher chair for taller people which also has wings for lateral support. May be suitable for people with hemiplegia.

Regency:
Similiar to the Nordic but with side wings and wider armrests.

Floreat:
Adjustable segmented back cushion. Head and arm covers. Dual mechanism allows independent footrest and backrest adjustment.
Chair will fully recline to a sleeping position. 40 mm castors. Can only be ordered as a standard model.

Rose:
Buttoned backrest.

Manually operated recliner chairs are also available.

Options
. The density of the cushioning in any chair can be altered to suit the
user.
. Vibrating massage units can be fitted to all chairs except the Nordic
model.
. Couches - 2 or 3 seater couches can be ordered to match the
recliners.
. Leonora - can add flip cervical pillows, arm covers, extra padding in leg support "skirt", increase height of back, "drop in" arm for side transfer.
. Castors.
