Short Description
Steel framed mobile chairs and beds with four adjustable air filled cushions which cover the complete seating surface from the top of the headrest to the end of the legrest. They have adjustable headrests, seats (infinite locking) and legrests. All chairs offer head and leg support and the seating position can be altered while the patient is in the chair.

AIRGONOMIC SEATING SYSTEM
Designed to provide pressure relief. Consists of air cushions on soft foam to support the upper body; on firm foam in the seat area.
FRAME
Steel frame. Frame covers are available if required.
UPHOLSTERY
The Air Chair is covered in a Synergy fabric as standard. This fabric has three way stretch and is vapour permeable and fluid resistant. The chair is able to be covered in vinyl fabric as an option.
TILT
Gas tilt mechanism. Squeeze lever under rear push handle to operate back tilt.
LEG REST
Adjusted with the gas lift mechanism. To lower the legrest, lift the end of the legrest and push the lever with the white knob. The footboard fits into the end of the legrest.
ARMRESTS
Fixed position
HEADREST
Attached with hook and loop tape and is easily removed.
CASTORS
Four lockable castors 150mm diameter. Three braking castors (red) and one steering castor (green)
*The chair will fit through a standard door.
*Patients can be X rayed while in chair.
Models
Air Tilt Bed: can be adjusted from chair through to a fully reclined position by altering position of backrest. Suitable for the taller person.
Princess Air Chair and Air Bed: suitable for the smaller person up to168cm (5'6"). Adjustments are as for the Tilt chair and bed.
Deluxe Bed and Small Deluxe Bed: drop down wings and arms for side transfers. Small deluxe suitable for people up to 4'6" (142 cm)
Options
Footrest, foot extension, seat belt, meal tray, stretch "Synergy" Super Soft cover, side panels for base of chair, larger (300mm) rear wheels, designer vinyls, incontinence cover.
