Short Description
A fixed height, steel framed chair consisting of a static base with a padded seat designed to glide in a forward and backward motion. A high back rest and removable neck rest cushion are also included. The chair is available in three models with a range of options and accessories and is suitable for domestic and health care settings.

More Details
This chair has plastic strapping upholstery which provides pressure reduction. Features a static base with a seat designed to glide in a forward and backward motion. A high back rest and removable neck rest cushion are also included.
The chair's gliding action is designed to produce a calming effect on individuals who are agitated, disoriented or who like the sensation of movement.
The auto locking mechanism prevents the gliding system from moving when the user is getting in or out of the chair. The glide mechanism can also be locked by an attendant if required.
The padding is available in a range of different colours, including Blue, Burgundy and green, and the density of padding in the seat and backrest can be customised.

BRAKE
The standard brake is operated by a carer or assistant. An optional brake can be applied and released by the user.

FRAME
Tubular steel featuring a solid base with four legs and two rear castors for moving the chair. The seat moves in a forward and backward motion. A catch is located at the rear of the chair to stop the chair moving when the person gets up from the chair.

SEAT AND BACKREST
PVC strapping upholstery conforms to the user's shape and reduces heat and moisture build up. The neck rest cushion is attached to the chair via hook and loop tape. The head rest is also height adjustable via hook and loop tape. Padding is available in a range of colours. Two pockets with flaps secured by hook and loop tape are attached to the sides of the chair.
ARMRESTS are full length, padded, gutter style and height adjustable.

CUSTOMISATION
The amount and density of padding in the lumbar and neck sections of the backrest and seat can be customised.
