practical features of the toaster which simplify operation for a person
with a disability.

Points to consider :
. Clear, bold, easy to read control markings.
. A control knob which is easy to turn or slide, large enough to grasp and not recessed.
. Capacity (2 or 4 slices).
. Size of toasting chamber.
. Whether the toasting cycle be easily interrupted.
. Ease of cleaning; ease of opening the crumb tray.
. Stability of unit.
. Some toasters have casings designed to stay cool, decreasing the risk of burns to hands from contact with external surfaces of toaster.
. Some toasters have a built in safety switch which cuts electric current in a split second if a fault is detected.
. Is there a cord storage facility?
. Automatic adjustment to thickness.
