Childs knife and spoon with small handles.

Short Description
A handle system and range of cutlery designed for use by children with
limited hand or arm function. The head of the utensil pulls out of the handle to allow the use of extension pegs to elongate the handle and/or a bent extension peg to angle the handle. The head fits into any of the handles or extension pegs, and can be rotated in the handle to achieve the most comfortable position for the user. The handles are manufactured from lightweight plastic and have two cut out holes to accommodate the fingers and/or thumb of the user.

More Details
. The extension pegs are 37 mm long.
. Four straight pegs and one bent one are supplied in the push peg extension kit but a total of only 4 pegs should be used at one time.
. The handles and heads are heat resistant and can be washed in a
dishwasher.
. The knife blade is not serrated.

Method of Use
Push and twist the handle onto the utensil until the utensil peg shoulder fits against the handle stem. Bend the utensil at the twisted part of the stem to the required angle (not applicable to the knife). Twist the handle in relation to the utensil head to give comfort and stability in use. Adjust the angle of the stem by inserting an angled push peg.
The handle stem can be extended by the use of the optional push peg system. By adding one peg, 38mm is added to the overall length, by adding four pegs 152mm is added to the overall length.
