Short Description
The Move Tube is a rectangular nylon slide sheet which has been folded in half and seamed along one edge, resulting in a 'tube' of fabric. The two surfaces of the tube slide over each other with minimum friction, providing a general purpose transfer aid.

Method Of Use
. Place the Move Tube under the person with the continous edge facing in the direction of the intended move.
. Assume an accepted safe lifting grip and stance.
. As the Move Tube slides over itself, no movement occurs directly against the user's skin so the transfer can be made by sliding rather than lifting.
.The picture file provides visual instruction on how each of the models can be used.
Models
1) General Purpose - most transfers for people who are conscious (bed to trolley transfers, lying to sitting or on-bed moves).
2) Full Length - 2m long to transfer people who are unconscious or totally dependent.
3) Chair size.
