Short Description
A medical sheepskin that conform to Australian Standards. It is designed to provide comfort, and to reduce friction, shear and moisture. Available in large size only. It is green in colour and will withstand washing at a higher temperature (Hi -Temp).

Features:
- High density soft but springy and resilient fibres.
- The wool fibres can absorb up to 34% of their dry weight in moisture without feeling damp.
Additional Comment
A medical sheepskin claiming compliance with AUSTRALIAN STANDARD AS4480.1 requires that a permanent label be bonded to the leather side. Each label displays the Australian Medical Sheepskin symbol and provides the following information:
- The manufacturer's identification number. (The register is held at Standards Australia).
- Performance identification.
- The designated size of the skin.

Cleaning Requirements
Domestic Laundering -A soiled skin should be immediately rinsed in cold water.
Machine washing:
HI- Temp sheepskin up to 80°C. Use liquid detergent which has no enzymes, phosphates, peroxide, alkali or bleach. 'Wooltec Skinsan' is the recommended detergent for effective washing and disinfection.
Drying: Tumble dry on warm setting. Do not exceed 60°C. Alternatively hang dry in shade away from direct heat. Flex skin to restore leather softness.
