· As the wool fibre absorbs body moisture, a clammy or damp feeling is not experienced as with some other filling products.
· Non-allergenic - which proves beneficial for people who suffer from allergies and asthma.
· As the quilt is lightweight it is useful for people who suffer from arthritis or other medical conditions which creates an intolerance to heavy blankets quilts.
· Shape is retained - fluffing is not required as with feather quilts.
Maintenance
· Soiled areas may be sponged clean with warm water and soap, keeping moisture to a minimum.
· Layout in a sunny area to dry.
· Quilts may be dry cleaned.
