Short Description
A pressure care mattress designed for use by people at low risk. Made from three layers of foam, it provides comfort and redistributes pressure evenly. The mattress is encased in either a loose Low-Shear or a Multi-Stretch cover with a side zip. Available in a standard single size or can be customised if necessary. It is ideal as a standard mattress for hospital and aged care beds.

The mattress is fire retardant and weighs approximately 8.4kg. The maximum patient weight limit is 200kg. The three layers of foam are described below:
The top layer has a very low resistance (memory foam) which easily conforms to body contours and bony prominences.
The second layer is a higher resistance foam that works in combination with the top layer in dispersing pressure evenly.
The third and harder base layer provides form and stability to the foam mattress system.
All foams are treated with 'Ultrafresh', an antifungal and antibacterial compound. The covers are made from high strength durable fabrics that are soft and flexible, impermeable to fluids / micro organisms, flame retardant and provide low friction and antishear.
