Short Description
Easy Air Maxus Series1000, and 800, are alternating air replacement mattress systems designed to suit people up to 290 kg, and who are at medium to high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Made to fit hospital and homecare style beds (equivalent of a king single size) without the need of a base mattress. (The Easy Air Series 200, and 500 are designed for single bed size use). The systems includes an electronic air pump.

Caution
All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct inflation levels), a different product may need to be considered.
It is advisable that a health professional be consulted when considering a suitable pressure care product.
