Short Description
A mobile electrically operated bed with adjustable height, backrest, and knee break. The timber head and foot boards, are only available on the single bed size. Other sizes are available on request, but head and foot boards are made from a laminate, which can include a timber look alike as an option. A range of options, and accessories are available.

Frame
The frame is made from powder coated steel and features a mesh metal mattress base.
Head and Foot board
The wooden head board features a padded head buffer. A range of foot boards are available. (A mattress retainer bar is available as an option, in lieu of a foot board).
Adjustments
Backrest angle and bed height. Knee break is included as a standard feature unless a client requests not to have it. These features may all be operated independently. Electric Foot Elevation (legrest and foot raise) is also a standard feature which needs to be set up/activated for automatic use, by the supplier when being installed.
Controls
Hand held on an extendable cord. Single control panel with flat rectangular push buttons for each have a specific bed function.
Mattress
Various mattress options including convoluted or standard foam. Covers may include a vapour permeable, breathable, water resistant cover with two way stretch.
Castors
The bed has four solid plastic 125mm castor wheels, each has a foot operated brake.
Brakes
Lever pedal type on all four castors.
Power Source
Through a 240 volt power point. The power is supplied to the hand piece through a 12 volt transformer.
Side Rails - are optional and fold down alongside the bed.
Clamp-on handrails are optional.
Safety Features
Battery back up is optional
Note:
- Legrest raise: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated parallel to the bed frame
- Knee break: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area so the legs below the knee are angled downwards (triangular configuration)
