Caution
Most ALRICK BEDS have an 'arc of lift / horizontal movement' when the bed height is adjusted. The space between the wall, and the bed buffer at the head of the bed, varies (depending on the model) from 10cm at the beds lowest height to 30cm at the beds maximum height adjustment. This means that extra space lengthwise, may have to be considered when selecting the bed for small rooms.

Standards
Some assistive technology needs to meet Australian or other standards. Standards may relate to materials, manufacturing and installation. Products that meet Australian or international standards will have written certification. To find out if a product meets Australian Standards ask the supplier to show you the certificate. For more information on what standards the equipment may need to meet, see http:// www.ilcaustralia.org.au/home/standards.asp
Place Of Manufacture
Alrick Manufacturing (NSW) Australia
Factors To Consider
Note:
Legrest raise: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated parallel to the bed frame
Knee break: leg section of bed elevates and bends at knee area so the legs below the knee are angled downwards (triangular configuration)
Trendelenburg Tilt: allows the entire bed to tilt so a person's feet can be higher than their head
Reverse Trendelenburg tilts the bed in the opposite direction.
