Short Description
Electrically operated low height bed suitable for nursing home and hospital use. It has adjustable height, backrest angle, and knee break. The vascular support bar enables manual leg elevation. Also available as a wide, and an extra wide bed.

More Details
FRAME: Powder coated sheet metal platform. Four corner buffers
Headboard / Footboard: moisture resistant Queen Anne style. Foot board folds down to become a bed end stripper board.
ELECTRIC ADJUSTMENTS: height, backrest angle and knee break. (Knee break - the bed frame bends under the knee area and the foot end of bed remains lowered).
MANUAL ADJUSTMENT: leg elevation with the vascular support bar. (The foot of the bed can be raised in a horizontal position).
CONTROLS: electrically operated hand held
MATTRESS: purchase separately from supplier
CASTORS: 125mm red lever pedal brake on each castor at foot end, both steering castors at head end have a green lever pedal to lock into straight steering.
Power Source: mains electricity, optional battery back up
Motor : centrally located under platform
Customising: can include increased width, strengthening frame to take up to 300kg.

Caution
Most ALRICK BEDS have an 'arc of lift / horizontal movement' when the bed height is adjusted. The space between the wall, and the bed buffer at the head of the bed, varies (depending on the model) from 10cm at the beds lowest height to 30cm at the beds maximum height adjustment. This means that extra space lengthwise, may have to be considered when selecting the bed for small rooms.
