Collapsible Conveyances
(Strollers, Pushchairs & Buggies)
A commercially available pram or stroller is appropriate during infancy, but as a child with a disability grows, a stroller with more specialised features might be required.

Mobility items designed to carry children and/or adults that can be easily collapsed for transport are variously called strollers, buggies, pushchairs and pushers. For simplicity, the term “stroller” will be used throughout.
