Target population
Young children (0-6 years) and adults eligible for services under the Intellectually Disabled Person's Services Act (1986) or Disability Services Act (1991).
Anyone who lives or works with, or who employs people with a complex communication needs (eg family members, speech pathologists, community health services).
Anyone who develops policies or practices that may impact on people with complex communication needs.

The Communication Resource Centre is funded by the Department of Human Services and Scope.

Maintenance

Some assistive technology needs to meet Australian or other standards. Standards may relate to materials, manufacturing and installation.
