Short Description
This switch consists of a rectangular plastic box containing a microswitch with a loop of string attached. Switch activation is achieved by means of a gentle tug on the string. Minimal movement range or force is needed for activation. Auditory feedback (click) is provided on activation.

Method of Use
String length can be altered in order to reduce the range of movement required.
Elastic can be used instead of string, which may absorb some uncontrolled movements by the person using the switch.
Factors to Consider
Useful for a person with reduced strength or range of movement as the string requires little force to activate.
