Zygo Switch Kit

Short Description
This switch kit contains a range of Zygo single switches including the Tread, Leaf, Touch, The Zygo Switch Kit includes a pneumatic (sip puff), Short Leaf, Lever, Lolly, Squeeze ball and Thumb switch; a Buzzer box, assorted ties, clips and fasteners, an extension cable and connector cables for Zygo devices. It is packaged in an attache style case.

More Details
Tread Switch
The tread switch is designed for heavy duty use.
It has a rectangular shape and has a thick foam rubber lining on both its activation and base surfaces.
It is a hinged switch and requires little activating force.
More force is required to operate if pressing closer to the hinge.
An auditory signal is provided when activated in the form of a click.

Leaf Switch
The leaf switch is a single, mechanical switch with a black plastic rectangular base and a flat flexible narrow red lever fitted to one end of the base.
The switch is activated by moving the lever from its resting position.
No auditory feedback is provided.
The flat base box has a range of screw/clearance holes allowing for mounting.

Touch Switch
This switch is a small flat rectangular shape, with a slightly smaller grey rectangular area inside.
It requires a light touch for activation.
The force required for activation can be varied using a tightening screw at one end of the switch.
The switch can be mounted using the four corner screw holes.

Pneumatic (sip/puff)
This switch consists of a small black control unit with 2 tube connection points.
Plastic tubes are connected to the unit.
The user sips/puffs into the tube depending on the connecting point.
The alteration of air pressure is detected and results in switch activation.

Short Leaf
The short leaf switch is a single, mechanical switch with a black plastic rectangular base and a flat flexible narrow red lever fitted to one end of the base.
The switch is activated by moving the lever from its resting position.
No auditory feedback is provided.
The flat base box has a range of screw/clearance holes allowing for mounting.

Lever Switches
Lever switches (CM-8 and CM-9) have a blue foam circular surface area, mounted on a metal lever that moves against a spring on the base.
Developed for access by side to side head motion.
Mounting systems have also been developed to position them for head access.
Most suitable for people who use light force only to activate the switch.
An audible click can be heard when switch is activated.

Lolly Switch
A small flat rectangular switch with a slightly smaller activation area inside.
The activation area can be ordered in different colours.
The force required varies from 80 grams at the edges to 140 grams in the centre.
The switch has screw holes at each corner for mounting.
Switch travel is approximately 1mm.
Auditory feedback is provided on activation and release.
