Auto Adapt Turnout Seat Base

ILC Reference NO 51:21:012
Item sourced from ILC VIC database

Main Picture

Factors to Consider
The Turnout seat does not raise the height of the seat, so transfers for some people, may still prove difficult. If seat lift is required, the Auto Adapt Turny might be an alternative to consider (refer to 51.21.011).
The two door models move the seat to face outwards, and also slide forwards across the doorstep.
The four door models only swivel to face outwards. Therefore a standing transfer may be necessary.
Modifications to the vehicle are minimal, therefore the vehicle can be returned to its original condition when required.
Factors affecting space available for swivelling and roof clearance are vehicle model and the height of the person using the seat. Seek advice from the installer.
Installation may not be possible in the driver's seat of some make of models, as the steering wheel may impede functional use.
To ensure Insurance cover, the vehicle owner should advise their Insurance Company of the approved vehicle modifications.
