Short Description
Canadian portable lifting seats. The Uplift range may be helpful for individuals who experience difficulty standing up from a chair. Underside of base board has slip resistant material.

More Details
Features
Seat
Upholstered in double knit polyester fabric.
High density foam cushion

Baseboard
Built in carry handle

Method of Use
Actuator settings
Stand Uplift on the end opposite carry handle.
Push down on the upholstered part of the seat surface, to flex the seat outward.
The cylinder connected between the seat and base will disconnect for repositioning.
Select one of the six settings that is closest to the weight of the user.
Fit loose end of cylinder into the appropriate weight slot for the user.
Choosing a weaker setting will allow a gentle lowering into the chair but will not provide as much force on rising.

Transport
Follow steps 1-3 as above for weight settings.
Close the Uplift and position elastic cord at the rear of seat around carry handle.

Placement in chair
Use in combination with chair that has armrests.
Addition of Uplift to chair increases floor - seat height by approximately 75mm.
Uplift should overhang the front of the chair.
Chairs with a relatively deep seat may accommodate the Uplift being positioned further back in the seat.
