Short Description
This single upright bedstick is made from white powder coated mild steel and can be used in either left or right hand side positions on the bed. It has a square base to slide under the mattress. The upper portion of the bedstick is curved over to enhance safety and also provide a curved handle to assist grip. Suitable for bariatric use.
Caution
Careful consideration needs to be taken when choosing a bed rail or bed stick. They may increase the risk of injury to the occupant in several ways. Entrapment of limbs or body parts may occur within the rails, or between the rails or stick and the bed. This may happen to those having a seizure, or rolling over in bed, or if unstable while transferring out of bed. Injury may also occur by an occupant falling onto a bed stick.
