Short Description
Mineral oil based gel inserts designed to be supported over heels that may be at risk of pressure ulcers or pain. They are held in position over the heel using an open toed elastic support sock that is available in three sizes. Available with an optional cover (called XStatic) with Silver Fibre, designed to inhibit growth of bacteria in the product and neutralise odour.

The supplier suggests the size can be measured by measuring the circumference of the leg 7cm above the ankle bone.
Factors to Consider
May be useful in reducing pressure, friction and shear forces over heels that may be susceptible to pressure ulcers.
