Short Description
An automatic lifting system designed to lift and move a manual wheelchair between the ground adjacent to the car and a vehicle boot compartment. The lifter is battery powered (supplied by the vehicle battery).

Price Guide
Refer to supplier information for pricing details.

Features
The lifter is made from an epoxy coated steel frame and is anchored to the rear floor surface of a vehicle such as a van or station wagon. It can be used with vehicles with a high rear door, vertical or slightly inclined (e.g. station wagons, mini vans, SUV's, four wheel drives etc).

Operation is via a controller located on a toggle button which is installed inside the vehicle. It is connected to the vehicle's battery and does not require charging. There is a manual over-ride mechanism.

The lifter attaches to a manual wheelchair via two lifting bars located on the EazyLoader.

The lifter can be transferred from one vehicle to another (some installation required).

Method Of Use
To unload the wheelchair from the boot:
NOTE: the wheelchair brakes must be off
1. Open the vehicle door.
2. Press the toggle switch located on the vehicle console.
3. The boot will automatically open, and the lifter will bring the wheelchair out of the boot, and around to the driver's side door.
4. Lift the safety catch on the lifter, and pull the wheelchair forward to release it from the lifter.
5. Once the wheelchair has been released, the lifter will retract back into the boot.
6. The boot will then close automatically.

To load the wheelchair from the driver's seat to the boot:
1. The user must transfer into the vehicle's seat.
2. Fold the manual wheelchair and position it to the side of the car and release the brakes on the wheelchair.
3. Press the activation button on the car console to activate the EazyLoader.
4. Push the wheelchair backwards to dock the wheelchair onto the EasyLoader
5. The EazyLoader will then attach itself into the base frame.
5. Activate the button for retraction into the boot.
7. Once the wheelchair has been lifted into the vehicle, the boot will close automatically.

NOTE: When the lifter is in use, a blue light attached to the frame of the EazyLoader will flash.
