Features
An aluminium and fibre reinforced plastic walking frame available in various colours (plastic components only). The solid lift up seat features rounded edges and has a textured surface with two insets for placing cups. The walker comes standard with a removable cloth bag with handles which is located underneath the seat.
The walker features a fully enclosed braking system with lever operated lockable brakes. The brakes retain correct adjustment regardless of the handle height position.
The handles are height adjustable in six increments. Adjustment points are numbered to facilitate correct height selection. The hand grips are moulded rubber with reflectors at the ends. Handle height adjustment is achieved by pulling the seat adjuster tab out while repositioning the handle. Once the correct height has been selected, release the adjuster and push the handle down until it locks into position.
Seat height adjustment is achieved by pulling both seat adjuster tabs at the same time while repositioning the seat. Release both seat adjusters to lock the seat in position. Push down on the seat to ensure that both sides are firmly locked into position before sitting. The adjustability of the walker enables it to grow with an older child through to adult use.
The large front wheels swivel and are 250mm in diameter with solid tyres. A swivel lock is optional. The rear wheels are 200mm in diameter.
A stepper pad is located inside the rear wheels and can be pressed down with the foot. The user can then pull back on the handles at the same time to lift the front wheels up to negotiate a kerb or small step.
To fold the walker, pull up the folding lever to its locked position. To unfold, reverse this procedure.
