Supertalker

Short Description
The SuperTalker is a speech generating device. It is has different cell layouts (1, 2, 4 or 8) and can be accessed directly or via 8 switches, each playing a single message. The SuperTalker allows for messages to be stored under single cells. Can be customised.

Features
INPUT: Coverage vocabulary (Pictures, symbol or word display relevant to the user), 8 input jacks for switch access available.

OUTPUT: Digitised Speech (human voice) recorded directly onto the device in a similar manner to a tape recorder. Two toy/appliance jacks for external connections to control switch adapted toys.

FEATURES: Messages can be programmed under single cells. Available SuperTalker has 8 levels available for the storage of up to 64 different sets of messages.

CELL No.: The SuperTalker has a choice of 1, 2, ,4 or 8 messages locations.

MEMORY CAPACITY: The SuperTalker can store up to 16 minutes standard voice recording time.

POWER: Uses 4 x AA batteries.

Models
Two models available- one for direct access only, the other with switch jacks. Both have same dimensions.

Method Of Use
The user selects messages represented on a paper overlay placed on the face of the device. Both direct and indirect access is possible. Direct Access via pointing or a pointing device. Indirect Access via 8 single switches.
