Short Description
The LightWRITER SL35 is a visual output communication device which has spelling input a visual display output. Text is displayed on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen for the user and on a second LCD screen facing the communication partner. It can have messages stored under one or two letter sequences, and can also store abbreviation expansions. The LightWRITER SL35 can be accessed directly via the keyboard. Can be customised and/or upgraded.

INPUT: - Spelling. Can be used with the Lightwriter Plug-in Scan Module to offer indirect access.

OUTPUT: - Text output only (no synthesised voice output). Can be used with the LightWRITER mini printer.

FEATURES: - Standard features include light touch keyboard, QWERTY key layout, backlit LCDs, no keyguard, 2 ports. Synthesised voice output can be added later.

COMMENTS: - The LightWRITER SL35 (No Speech) is a small, portable device which can be used for communication in a variety of environments with people who can read text and who may wish to upgrade the device to a voice output system in the future.
