Short Description
The Kaye Suspension Walker is designed for children and adults and supports the user in an upright or partial weight bearing position. The walker is positioned behind the user and has an overhead frame with a manually operated winch to lift and lower the user to vary the amount of weight placed through the lower limbs. It is available in four sizes to fit toddlers through to adults and can fold for storage and transport.

More Details
The Kaye Suspension walker is suitable to use as part of a walking training program for adults or children. The harness supports the user in a full or partial weight bearing position. This walker can be used with the user on a treadmill or on normal ground. Not suitable for general outdoor mobility in rugged or uneven terrain.

The manually operated winch can be used to change the position of the user and therefore change the amount of weight bearing the user is required to use.

Can be used as a dynamic standing frame.

The walker is width and height adjustable to accommodate different training environments.

Includes swivel castors with directional locks to facilitate use as a walker over open and level ground.

Includes brakes to enable the walker to remain in position when in use over a treadmill.

Models
The Kaye Suspension Walker is available in three sizes to accommodate varying height and weight bearing capabilities of the users. Refer to dimensions and specifications for exact details of these sizes.

Also available is the Kaye Suspension Conversion Kit which attaches to an existing Kaye Posture Control Walker to allow this additional function. If this is used, the standard Kaye posture walker will not be able to be used with a treadmill system.
