Short Description
A height adjustable folding children`s mobile walking frame. The walker is designed to offer support at the rear of the child encouraging more upright walking. The top of the frame contours from the sides, where it provides hand grips, around to the rear where the child`s bottom contacts the crossbar preventing the hips from bending. Available in six models and five sizes. One size is suitable for adults. Accessories available.

More Details
MATERIALS: Lightweight aluminium frame. The front wheels are plastic unidirectional wheels and rear can have either rubber stoppers, or, if a four wheeled model, small reverse ratchet and cog mechanism wheel locks are used which prevent backward movement. There is an option to have swivel wheels at the front. Dycem non slip grip handles.

ADJUSTMENT: The walker's height should be adjusted to align the rear bar with the middle of the child's buttocks. Push pins on each leg of the walker allow height adjustment.

TO FOLD: The frame folds by the push pins on the side crossbars and pushing the front legs towards the rear legs.

OPTIONS: Gutter forearm supports. Pelvic support. All terrain wheels. Bag

COMMENTS: - Useful when training for appropriate walking patterns. Prevents user from flexing at hips and trunk.
- Folds to become quite compact.
- Height adjustment of walker allows for some growth of user.
- As height is increased, the walker base is increased giving sufficient stability.
- Unidirectional front wheels can make it difficult to turn the walker.

SAFETY: 1. Avoid using on steep slopes as it may roll out of control.
2. As the walking frame is a training aid, generally the user should not be left unattended.

WB = 2 non-swivel front wheels & 2 rear stoppers
WBR = 2 non-swivel front wheels & 2 non-swivel rear wheels with ratchet to prevent rolling to rear
WBS = 2 swivel front wheels & 2 non-swivel rear wheels with ratchet to prevent rolling to rear
WBH = Fold away seat & 2 non-swivel front wheels & 2 rear stoppers
WBHR = Fold away seat & 2 non-swivel front wheels & 2 non-swivel rear wheels with ratchet
WBHS = Fold away seat & 2 swivel front wheels & 2 non-swivel rear wheels with ratchet

There are 5 sizes.
Add size to model code to obtain correct final model code, e.g. W ½ BHS
Add seat to model code and size if a seated option is wanted e.g.
W½ (seat) BHS

The five sizes are suitable for the following age groups:
W½ ... up to four years.
W1 ... three to seven years.
W2 ... five to nine and one half years.
W3 ... seven to thirteen years.
W4 ... adult.

Options
Kaye Walker Suspension Conversion Kit:

the suspension kit attaches to the Kaye walker and allows it to function as a 'partial weight bearing' or suspension walker.
the walker can fold with the suspension kit attached
the narrower width of this unit allows greater manoeuvrability indoors, but prevents the unit from fitting over a treadmill. It will fit over with a treadmill width adaptor.
the conversion kit is suitable for users who do not have to be lifted into the unit and weight-bearing do not have to be adjusted when walking.
