Factors to Consider
To propel and guide the chair correctly, the user must have good perceptual abilities, good concentration, and reasonable strength in the arm that will propel the chair.
Very difficult to propel up a hill and over rough ground.

Standard weight, stainless steel, folding dual rim, one arm drive wheelchair. Available in four seat widths. Large range of options and accessories, including left or right hand operation. Chair size can be made to individual specifications if required.

Two handrims, one smaller than the other, are located on either the left or right hand side of the chair.

Method Of Use
The two handrims are fitted on one side.
The large rim drives the wheel in the usual manner and the smaller rim drives the opposite wheel through a folding axle.
When both handrims are held together, the chair may be propelled backwards or forwards.
When either rim is moved independently the chair will turn according to the rim used.
