Factors to Consider
The lighter wheel may assist in reducing fatigue for a user who has to dismantle the wheelchair and lift the wheel into a vehicle for transportation.
Short Description
Lightweight wheels with spokes made from Vectran fibres which bend but also maintain stiffness. They are twice the strength of steel, but only one third the weight, so decrease the overall weight of the wheelchair. They may dampen the road shock for a smoother ride and perform well on extreme cambers of up to 20 degrees. Four models are in the range and five spoke colours are available.
