Factors to Consider
This wheelchair can be changed between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive without using tools.
The cantilever seat may be of benefit when higher surfaces are needing to be reached such as benches at school.
The wheelchair can still operate when the seat is raised, but it will travel at a slower speed.
Tilt in space can be used when the seat is raised.


Short Description
An Australian made front wheel drive or rear wheel drive indoor and outdoor childrens powered wheelchair. The seating can be custom made and a manually operated tilt in space is standard. Options include powered tilt in space, adjustable backrest recline and seat rise in space with a cantilever (or seat raising) action. The angle of backrest recline can be adjusted. The drive wheels have suspension and there is a floating castor system. The rigid frame can be customised. Options and accessories are available. May be suitable for smaller adults.

More Details
Models
Standard base model has manually operated tilt in space as standard. It is attendant operated using a foot pedal at the rear of the seat.
Power seat raise model allows the seat to vary in height.

Frame
Rigid powder coated steel frame.
A range of colours are available.
Drive wheels have independent suspension.
Floating castors on a pivoting frame.
This can be changed between front and rear wheel drive on the same wheelchair base without using tools.
The load capacity is affected if tilt in space seating is used.
Seat
Foam padded seat as standard with vinyl or sailcloth upholstery. A range of colours and patterns are available.
Standard seat size can be provided with dimensions made to specifications. It is adjustable in seat width and seat depth.
Solid seat insert is optional.
All seating can be customised.

Backrest
Tension adjustable slung backrest using vinyl or sailcloth is standard.
Backrest is angle adjustable as standard.
Backrest can be customised with extra supports added.

Headrest
Headrest can be custom made.

Armrests
Full length, height adjustable, padded armrests.
Armrests are adjustable in height and depth.
Armrests are removable.
Able to be customised in shape and dimensions.

Legrest
Swing away, removable legrests are standard and adjustable in length.
Fixed option is available.
Elevating legrests and stump supports are available.

Footplates
Split, lift up footplates are standard.
One piece, two piece, footboard and platform are optional and can be customised.
Extension tubes, heel loops and toe straps are available.

Controls
Dynamic DX proportional and non proportional controls can be used.
Commando Plus controller is standard option.
These controls can control seat raise, tilt in space and recline.
Options include Joystick, chin control, sip and puff, head, tray and attendant controls.
Environmental controls can be added.

Batteries
Two 38amp batteries are used.
The batteries are mounted centrally between the four wheels and castors.

Motors
Two direct drive motors.

Transport
Two tie down points are fit to the drive wheel section of the frame, and a center tie down point is on the castor end of the frame.
The backrest and armrests are removable for transport.

Customisation
The wheelchair can be customised with seating size and supports and frame dimensions.
