Factors to Consider
It is important to ensure that all individuals positioning the harness on the user has had adequate training in the correct placement of straps.
Short Description
An Australian made harness for children or adults requiring support and positioning. The harness is available in five standard sizes for children, and three standard sizes for adults, but can also be custom made. Customisation is at no extra cost. It is fitted to the piece of equipment by a physiotherapist as part of the service. They can be used on wheelchairs, standard chairs and standing frames. The shoulder straps are secured with black snap release fasteners. The harnesses are padded and are manufactured in a variety of material and trimmings. Waterproof outer lining is also available. A safety strap is provided to prevent movement of the harness if the user were to slide forwards.

Options
The harness is normally fixed into a hard back.
A Fixata Adapta may be purchased when using soft backed wheelchairs in order to secure the harness.
