Short Description
A folding pushchair comprised of a steel frame and removable fabric seat and backrest. Available in five sizes suitable for children and adults. Seat depth, seat angle, backrest angle and footplate height are adjustable. A Cruiser Transport model that features tie down vehicle restraints and a Cruiser Ready package that includes a range of postural supports are available in all sizes.

Features
Frame
The frame is nickel chrome steel tubing.
The three larger models (CX14, CX16 and CX18) incorporate a heavy duty frame and reinforced cross brace.

Seat
Seat angle is fixed at 30 degrees from horizontal.
Seat to back angle is adjustable to four positions being 85, 90, 95 and 100 degrees.
The seat depth is adjustable.

Backrest
130mm backrest extension available for CR13.
200mm backrest extension available for CR14 and CR16.
The Cruiser Anatomic backrest is available on all sizes except CX18 and features a contoured backrest that offers lumbar support.

Harness
A three point lap belt is standard with all sizes.

Wheels and Castors
The tyres consist of solid rubber.
The front castors swivel.

Colours
Colour choice includes ocean blue, navy blue, purple, teal and rasberry.

Footplates
Footplates flip up for transfers and folding.
An adjustable foot strap is located on each footplate.

Brakes
Foot operated brakes on each rear wheel.

Push handles
Reversible if required.

Folding
Unlock rear brace with foot, grasp one handle and pull up on the centre of the seat fabric with the other hand (with footplates flipped up), then lean buggy backwards on rear wheels and push on seat tubes to complete fold.
The Cruiser can be folded with most options in place.

Accessories
Reinforced seat and backrest fitted with removable nylon supports.
Cut Back Seat to reduce seat depth by 50mm.
Adjustable height padded headwings offer lateral head support.
Headrest extension to increase backrest height for taller children.
Foam wedges to modify seating.
Stabilising hat (halo hat) that attaches to the backrest to offer increased head support.
Canopy that includes clear observation panel.
Sheepskin cover.
Transparent tray with lip.
Detachable horizontal grab bar.
Transparent vinyl rain cover.

Options
A Cruiser Ready package is available in all sizes and includes adjustable footplates with heel loops and ankle straps, headrest with padded wing supports, reinforced heavy duty upholstery, swing away hip abductor, harness with padded strap covers, swing away adjustable lateral supports, canopy, standard frame and closure strap.
A Cruiser Transport model is available in all sizes and features tie down restraints for use in vehicles. A harness with padded strap covers and a backrest extension is included. This model is currently available for short term hire in the ILC Equipment Library.
