Short Description
This lumbar support is available in a standard model or can be customised to the needs of the user. It consists of a series of cells which can move independently and are filled with air. The manufacturer reports this as being Dry Flotation technology, enabling the user to be immersed into the cushion and be supported by air. The standard model consists of 3 rows deep of air cells by 8 air cells across. The manufacturer states it is designed to assist in relieving back pain and fatigue.

Material
The cushion is made of flame resistant neoprene rubber.
The cushion can be washed with soap and water or can be steam autoclaved.
Dry Flotation Technology
The manufacturer states there are 4 principles of the Dry Flotation Technology.
Roho cushions are constructed of individual cells that can move independently of each other, enabling the cushion to move with the user and contour to their shape.
The manufacturer states that the cellular design enables the user to immerse into the cushion creating low surface tension.
The manufacturer states that as a result of immersing into the cushion, forces and pressures pushing back against the person are kept equal at all points, resulting in greater contact area between the user and cushion.
The manufacturer indicates that the design of the surface of each cell as well as the ability of cells to move independently reduces friction and shear forces.
Features
The neoprene rubber is able to be patched or repaired if required due to punctures.
The manufacturer states that the separate air cells facilitate air circulation.
The cushion features an eyelet in each corner enabling the cushion to be secured to a backrest.
The cell height is high profile.
The air valve is positioned in one corner of the cushion.
A yellow cord tab is featured in one corner of the cushion for handling and carrying the item.
