Factors to Consider
It is important to ensure that all individuals positioning the harness on the user has had adequate training in the correct placement of straps.

Short Description
A range of vests and belts have been designed to complement the R82 range of equipment, but the manufacturer states they may be obtained and used separately. They are mounted by a buckle system (fix-locks) which can be obtained with the vests and belts. The range includes supports for the upper and lower body in a variety of sizes. Thermo bags are an additional option in the R82 product range which can be obtained separately.

Product Range
Vests
Waistcoat vest with a front zip closure.
Crossover vest which secures above the shoulders and to each side of the user.

Belts
Upholstered H-harness which secures with a buckle centrally.
H-Harness with plastic lock or seat belt buckle, 25mm or 40mm wide.
Padded hip belt.
Lap belt.
Pelvic harness / abduction belt which is placed over each thigh.
Padded shoulder straps.
Sternum strap.
Padded ankle straps.
Upholstered footrest straps.
Hand/wrist cuffs.

Thermo Bags
Thermo bags are available in five sizes. This product is placed over the legs to just above waist level and secures with straps over each shoulder as an alternative to a blanket.

Colours
All belts are black.
The vests are available in plain colours of navy, black, grey, lilac, cobalt and white. The vests are also available in a patterned fabric in blue, black and green.
The thermo bags are available in black and yellow.

Warranty
12 months.

Standards
Some assistive technology needs to meet Australian or other standards. Standards may relate to materials, manufacturing and installation.
