Features

Materials
The frame is composed of plastic, aluminium and stainless steel. A heavy duty frame is also available if a higher load capacity is required than on the standard frame.
The pads consist of a polyurethane foam with a polyurethane film top coating.
The covers are made from a knitted nylon fabric with a polyurethane coating against bacteria and microfungi. The covers are water resistant.

Adjustment
Each pad adjusts individually in position and is able to tilt up and down, side to side and forward and back. They are mounted on a swivel arm and elbow clamp which allows for this range of movement.
The back support system is able to recline up to 30 degrees.
Depth and height of the frame is also adjustable via side plates and clamp placement.

Accessories
Additional postural supports are available to be added to the system. This includes an additional fourth tier (upper thoracic pad) with either single or dual pads, headrest pad, lateral supports, hip and wing pads.
All accessories are available in various pad sizes and heavy duty configurations.

Attachment to the Wheelchair
The back support attaches to the wheelchair via mounting hardware placed on the wheelchair back posts and the back support can either be fixed or removable. If not fixed, the clamp hardware allows for removal of the back support from the wheelchair by Quick Release Levers. If the back support is to be fixed to the wheelchair, socket head bolts replace the Quick Release Levers.
