Short Description
The Zoid PSV cushion is a low profile, lightweight, self-inflating, air and foam floatation cushion with a tapered shape for active wheelchair users. A waterproof, washable incontinence cover is standard. The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a user at medium risk of developing pressure areas. The cushion is available in 12 adult and 6 paediatric sizes.

Price Guide
Refer to supplier details for pricing.

More Details
The cushion is a 60mm(2.5") thick seat support comprised of a single air cell containing multiple densities of foam. Firmer foam is located around the edges of the cushion, soft foam is located under the buttocks and medium foam is used under the thighs.
The tapered shape makes the cushion suitable for active users and rigid frame wheelchairs.
Two types of fabric are bonded to the Zoid PSV - two-way stretch knit on the top and nylon on the bottom. Fabrics are puncture and water resistant.

The incontinence cover is machine washable.
It is made of two-way stretch fabric with reticulated foam sewn to the inside to aid in breathability.
The underside of the cover is slip-resistant.
A mesh cover is also available.

Pressure Setting Valve (PSV)
Sitting on a fully inflated cushion, open the PSV to one of three pre-set positions.
When the PSV senses that the desired level of immersion has been reached, it stops releasing air.
Close the PSV. The cushion then remains in the contoured position.
The cushion can be re-inflated by opening the valve again once the weight has been taken off it.

The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a user at medium risk of developing pressure areas.

Only one model is available.

Solid insert seat eliminates hammocking of seat upholstery.
