Factors to Consider

Short Description
A lightweight inflatable cushion comprising orange Laxprene air filled raised cells in a honeycomb formation. The cushion has two individually inflatable compartments. The removable cover has a slip resistant base. The manufacturer states that this cushion is suitable for users with moderate to high skin protection needs. The Polyair 100 has cells 100mm high and is suitable for larger, less active users with reduced mobility who have a very high risk of developing or have developed pressure sores. Available in two sizes.

Each Polyair cushion is supplied with a manometer (pressure measuring instrument) and pressure guide to ensure accurate inflation for client stability and comfort.
Reduces pressure through an increase in the contact area
Improved ventilation within the cushion as a result of aeration channels between the cells.
Honeycomb design gives increased stability as a result of improved contact point equilibrium
Two separate compartments: - each reacts independently to inflation and pressure. Useful in rectifying any asymmetry in the area of the pelvis.
Made from hypoallergenic textiles. Breathable. Dual rear hook and loop straps.
The cover has side eyelets to enable the valves to be inserted for inflation.
