Factors to Consider

Jay cushions are designed to fit the individual dimensions of the user. Sunrise Medical are able to add foam rails to their Jay range of cushions to extend seat width or depth. This may assist if the dimensions of the user and the wheelchair vary. This can be completed at no additional cost at time of ordering.
Short Description
The Jay Basic cushion is made from medium density foam with a contoured surface to provide mild positioning. The cushion features a slip resistant base and a stretch knit polyester cover with a fluid resistant internal coating. The manufacturer states that this cushion is designed for a user at low risk of pressure sore development. It is available in a range of sizes.

Cleaning Requirements
The foam base may be wiped down with warm soapy water and dried with a cloth. It should not be immersed in water.
The cover may be removed, turned inside out and machine washed in warm water. The covers cannot be ironed, autoclaved, dry or steam cleaned.
Maintenance
