Short Description
The Cushion Rigidiser is a moulded, lightweight plastic base featuring large ridges to provide additional strength. The ridges form a subtle triangular shape on the bottom to assist in minimising the hammocking effect of slung upholstery, and to provide a firm base of support for use with a cushion. It provides adhesive for permanent attachment to a cushion inside the cushion cover, and is available in a range of sizes.

Adheres permanently to cushion inside the cover to provide a constant, stable support surface.
Can be customised to suit different cushion depths by trimming the rigidiser by up to 50mm. When trimming the rigidiser, ensure the cut edges are smooth to reduce wear on the inner cover of the cushion.

Installation
1. Remove seat cushion assembly from chair.
2. Open seat cover and remove the foam cushion from seat cover.
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the backing from double sided tape until you have marked the placement area on the foam cushion. Be sure of placement area as the rigidiser will not re-adhere securely if installed and removed.
3. Position bottom (underside) of the Seat Rigidiser onto the bottom of the foam cushion to the extreme rear while centring it on the left and right sides.
4. Outline the foam cushion with a marker, pen or pencil using the Seat Rigidiser as your template to mark the placement area.
5. After marking placement area, remove the double-sided tape backing from Seat Rigidiser and install Rigidiser onto bottom (underside) of foam cushion.
6. Press down firmly to adhere the Seat Rigidiser to the foam cushion.
7. Re-install foam cushion into the seat cover and secure seat cover to chair with the hook and loop backing.
