Pressure cushions without their own solid base could be used without contortions and therefore loss of pressure relieving qualities.
Short Description
The Adjustable Seat is a device that replaces a slung seat with a solid seat. It is adjustable in width and angle and it is firmly held in place by 4 J shaped hooks which are lined with non slip rubber and clamped to the frame. The clamps allow for easy removal and therefore enable folding of the wheelchair frame.

Features
The seat is an H shaped base that has four width adjustment brackets, one extending from each corner.
The brackets are fixed in place with a Phillips head screw.
The brackets are then attached to J hooks that fit over the wheelchairs tubing to hold it in place.
The hooks can be fixed to adjust it for different heights and angle needs.
There are three depth adjustment openings to fit the width adjustment brackets into.
Generally the widest settings possible for its application should be used to maximise stability.
If the seat width required is less than its minimum, it can be cut to a narrower width.
Scribe lines are provided to cut this seat with a band saw.
