Invacare Storm Series TDX A Power Wheelchair
ILC Reference NO 43:42:001

Factors to Consider
Alternative seating systems can be added to this base over time. This may be Invacare or other brands.
Sure Step is a mechanism that powers the front castors independently up when they hit an obstacle. This allows small castors to raise over higher obstacles and steps up to approximately 75mm.
Rear wheels have a mechanism to push onto the ground if they are about to lift. This can reduce any rocking.
The front wheels need to hit an obstacle to raise over them. The seat may need to be tilted to do this if the footplates are too low.
This item should be trialled in the user's own environment to ensure maximum safety and independence. Environmental considerations include eg: kerbs, footpaths, tram and railway crossings, street crossings, etc.

The rear wheels are designed to push down to remain on the ground which can reduce rocking.
