Short Description
An Australian made rear wheel drive powered wheelchair with a rigid frame with high power, high torque, high speed motors. It has rear wheel sprung suspension and articulating front castors. It has as standard a contoured seat with height adjustable armrests and the contoured backrest has a manual recline. The Dynamic DX controller offers a large variety of joystick and switching options and electrically operated seat and footplate functions such as power tilt in space, power recline back and power elevating legrests. The complete wheelchair can be customised to suit including seating. The base can be used with paediatric or childrens size to bariatric size seating.

Heavy duty, rounded epoxy coated steel tubing.

Seat
Contoured upward at the front and sides.
Extra rubber sprung centre.
Designed to accommodate a range of pressure cushions or modular seats.
Multipurpose seating or an adjustable modular seating system can be used.

Backrest
Standard multipurpose seating system (MPS) incorporates a manually operated reclining backrest.
Velour or vinyl backrest is laterally contoured
A range of modular backrests can be added to the frame

Controls
Programmable Extra High Power Dynamic DX electronics are used
A range of proportional controls are available including hand,tray,chin, foot and attendant control
Non proportional controls such as sip and puff and head controls are also available

Motors
Motors are mounted horizontally across the frame and feature heavy duty gearboxes
The motors are high torque (over 900 watts) and high speed (10kph) 4 pole DC.
Two small levers in the middle of the wheelchair engage/disengage motors and allow the wheelchair to be freewheeled

Batteries
The battery boxes are mounted widthways within the frame
A separate battery charger is supplied and plugs into the control box
A 24 volt 8 amp charger in use
Two 40 Amp Hour gel cell batteries are fitted as standard (high capacity 56a/hr & extra high capacity 73a/hr are optional)

Wheels
Standard drive wheels are pneumatic tyres
Two sizes of drive wheels are available

MCP castors are standard
Pneumatic front castors are available
Castor system are articulate to maintain contact on all surface angles
Two sizes of castors are available
Rear anti tip wheels fitted as standard

Suspension
Independent suspension on drive wheels
The tension of the suspension will alter according to user weight
Fine suspension control can be adjusted

Warranty
12 month limited warranty on parts and workmanship. This does not cover tyres, batteries and upholstery. Wheelchair must be returned to factory or agent for all warranty repairs.
