Shorter motor shafts on the base are sometimes optional, which can reduce the overall size of the powered wheelchair.
This item should be trialled in the user's own environment to ensure maximum safety and independence. Environmental considerations include eg: kerbs, footpaths, tram and railway crossings, street crossings, etc.

Short Description
An Australian made mid wheel drive powered wheelchair with a rigid frame. It has rear wheel sprung suspension and anti tip wheels. The seat width and depth is adjustable. Armrest height and length is manually adjustable. The controller options provide a large variety of joystick and switching alternatives. Other options include powered tilt in space, powered elevating legrests, and powered backrest recline. The base is available in three sizes.

Frame
Powder coated steel frame in various colours.

Push Handles
Part of the back support frame.
Powder coated steel that spans the width of the backrest.

Backrest
Padded with contoured lateral support.
Plush backrest has increased contoured lateral supports with a velour surface.
Powered recline is an option.

Seat
Contoured standard seat using foam and ply.
Inner spring seating covered in foam available.
Slung vinyl seat and backrest are optional.
Plush seat available with extra webbing and foam support.
Telescopic seat frame allow for a range of seat widths and depth.
The smallest width could accommodate a child approx 6 to 10 years old.

Armrests
Padded armrest with side extensions.
Manually adjusted with a black handle to increase height.
Manually operated lift up option operated by depressing a silver spring lever at the base of the armrest support.

Footplates
Individual plastic footplates that flip up for transfers.
Solid steel footplates available.
Powered or manually operated elevating legrests available.
Swing away.

Lockable with black plastic lever under hanger.

Tyres
Pneumatic mid wheel.
Centre hub to be pulled out and turned for freewheel.

Two anti tip wheels below the battery mounting.

The batteries are stored in containers suspended under the seat.
Two 12 volt 36 amp sealed lead acid batteries are standard.

Material bag mounted to back of wheelchair is standard.

Optional Dynamic or Penny and Giles controllers are available.
These can provide various programming options.
