This item should be trialled in the user's own environment to ensure maximum safety and independence. Environmental considerations include eg: kerbs, footpaths, tram and railway crossings, street crossings, etc.

Short Description
Australian manufactured rear wheel drive powered wheelchair that features a folding frame. Standard features include sling seat, sling backrest, swing away removable footrests, removable armrests, anti tip wheels and a sliding controller mount. A wide range of options are available and dimensions can be customised. Available in adult and children's sizes.

Frame
Made from high tensile aluminium.

Upholstery
Nylon cordura is standard, vinyl is available.

Seat
Slung seat with covered foam cushion, bevelled front edge for comfort.
Three standard seat depths are available.
Removable seat cushion available.
Solid seat cushion available.

Backrest
Slung backrest.
Backrests are available in various heights in 30mm increments.

Armrests
Black polyurethane armrests are standard.
Padded armrests or height adjustable armrests available.
Desk style armrests available.

Footrests
Two height adjustable plastic footrests are standard.
Aluminum footrests available.

Drive Wheels
Two pneumatic drive wheels.

Castors
Pneumatic or MCP castors available.
Two sizes available.

Controls
Dynamic or Penny and Giles programmable controllers can be mounted on left or right hand side.
A range of optional controls are available such as attendant and dual control.

Brakes
Electrodynamic and electromagnetic braking.

Motors
Two 24 volt 28 amp motors.

Batteries
24 amp/hr batteries are supplied as standard, with the option of 15 amp/hr.
Charging point is located at the front of the control box. The illuminated on off button flashes to indicate low state of battery charge.

Dismantling
The battery casing must be removed before the frame is folded.
