Short Description
A reclining manual wheelchair with a folding triple chrome-plated, carbon steel frame. It is self propelled using a rear wheel drive action and is suitable for large children and adults. The wheelchair is available in six seat widths and has a single axle position. The rear wheels move backwards and the articulating legrests extend as the backrest reclines. There is a choice of armrests. A range of accessories is available. This wheelchair may also be known as the Invacare 9000XT Full Recliner or the Ridelite 9000 Reclining Wheelchair.

Frame
Standard folding carbon-steel frame which will recline.
Single cross brace. Rear anti tip bars with rollers, front anti tip bars.
Multiple wheel positions allow variation of seat-to-floor height.
Standard nylon.
Upholstery resists mildew, bacteria, cold crack and UV damage.
Optional vinyl or sail cloth.
Colours
Frame: Chrome, Super Teal, Cobalt Blue, Red, Black, Silver Vein.
Upholstery: Nylon - Black
Vinyl - Sky Blue, Black, Dove Grey, Dark Blue.

Seat
Standard slung style.
Available in five seat widths and three seat depths.
Seat-to-floor height can be altered to 440 or 460mm by varying wheel size.
Optional solid seat insert.
Seat width from 360mm to 560mm in 55mm increments.

Standard slung style.
Reclines with a dual trigger release mechanism.
Peg style push handles.
Optional gas lift package (to assist attendants to raise the backrest), extended push handles, solid back insert, lumbar support.

Padded with clothing guards.

Standard composite wheels with urethane tyres.
No maintenance dual sealed precision bearings.
Wheels move backwards as the backrest reclines providing a longer wheelbase and greater stability.
Push rims of aluminium, chrome plated, composite or pewter. Single axle position.
Optional pneumatic tyres, capstan push rims, quick release wheels, puncture resistant tyres, wheel diameter of 500 or 550mm.
Castors
Standard composite castors with urethane tyres.
Brakes
Standard toggle style operated with a lever.
Push to lock. Mounted on the rear of the wheel.
Attendant operated wheel locks are standard.
Optional grade aid (hill holder) brakes, brakes mounted on the front of the wheel, brake lever extension. User-operated wheel locks.
