SHORT DESCRIPTION
One arm drive conversion kit that will fit onto the Vector manual wheelchair. The kit consists of two rear wheels connected by a concertina style drive shaft. One rear wheel has a dual rim to drive the wheelchair that can be attached to either the left or right side. The kit can be bought on its own, model A 993A, or with the Vector chair in lieu of standard wheels.

FEATURES
Drive wheels
Pneumatic or solid rubber tyres.
Double hand rim on either left or right side.
Quick release hubs are not available.

Brakes
Extension handle would need to be added to side opposite double rimmed wheel.

Attachment of Conversion Kit
To attach kit, first detach original rear wheels.
Then slide a lower bracket from the kit onto the bottom strut of the frame of the wheelchair.
Secure by aligning the upper bracket to where the original wheels were and pass a bolt through this tube.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR USE
To propel and guide the chair, the user requires intact perceptual abilities, good concentration and reasonable strength in the arm that will propel the chair.
Very difficult to propel up a hill and over rough ground.
