Quickie 2 Series

Short Description
This range includes three folding manual wheelchairs being the Quickie 2, Quickie 2HP and Quickie Heavy Duty Package for adult bariatric users. The wheelchairs are American made and feature slung upholstery, large degree of choice in regard to seating and frame dimensions and a broad range of options and accessories. Sizes for children in the Quickie 2 model are available.

Quickie 2
This model has many options and a large degree of adjustability.
Allows for growth with adjustable seating.
Frame is made from aluminium with a selection of 14 colours.
Swing away detachable footrests are standard with other options available.
Castor options include polyurethane or pneumatic. The castor housing can be adjusted forwards and backwards.
Quick release axles are standard.
Adjustable axle plate standard with amputee settings and curved axle plates are optional.
Angle adjustable backrest.
Tubular front frame gusset for increased strength.
The option of a one arm drive attachment is available which can be mounted on the left or right side of the wheelchair. Uni lateral wheel locks or brakes are optional to engage from one side only.

Quickie 2HP
The Quickie 2HP differs from the Quickie 2 as it has a fixed front end (does not feature swing away footrests) available in 60 or 70 degree angles with composite footplates. A one piece flip up footplate and loop style footplates are optional.
Aluminium frame with adjustable axle plates. Rounded rear frame with the option of a curved axle plate.
Lighter overall weight than the Quickie 2 due to use of titanium hardware.
14 frame colours available.
Multiple armrest options.
Available with or without push handles.
Quick release wheels are standard.

Quickie 2 Heavy Duty Package
Stabilizer bar reinforces the backrest. The backrest upholstery also features additional reinforcement.
Tri crossbrace.

Common Features
Slung seat upholstery slides directly into a C channel in the seat rail. This allows the slung seat to be removed by taking off the endcap.
The angle adjustable backrest provides fifteen degrees of recline and three degrees of forward angle adjustment with two pivot points and three height options.
The footrest hanger has a double extension tube to prevent footplate rotation.
Inverted hanger bracket for the footrest.
The seat features a strap to assist folding the wheelchair.
Adjustable axle plate.
The True Fit Program is provided within three years of delivery. If physical changes occur and the wheelchair no longer fits correctly, this program is a one time replacement to allow for growth of the seat, back upholstery, footplates and hangers, back tubes, frame and crossbrace.
