Short Description
Australian made, rear wheel drive wheelchair with slung seat and backrest and detachable armrests and footrests. It is made from stainless steel with a folding frame. A large range of options and accessoriesis are available. The Glide 3 has a reinforced aluminium cross bar folding mechanism which makes it stronger than the frame of the Glide 1 (and therefore cheaper and easier to customise). A heavy duty frame is available for bariatric users.

Drive wheels
Drive wheels with pneumatic tyres.
Options of quick release axles, solid rubber tyres, thorn proof tubes, capstan rims..

Castors
Spoked castors.
Solid castors are also available.

Frame
Folding, stainless steel frame.

Upholstery
Blue or black vinyl slightly padded sling seat and backrest.
Also available in cordura.

Armrests
Removable, full length skin polyurathane covered foam armrests are standard.
Armrest troughs, desk arms, locking armrests, 50mm higher armrests and adjustable height armrests are also available.

Footrests
Aluminium, swing away, detachable, height adjustable footrests are standard.
Elevating legrests and heel loops are available.
Manual Elevating legrests are optional.
One piece footplate is optional.
Stump supports are optional in 300mm and 400mm lengths.
Interlocking footplates are optional.

Brakes
Lever and toggle style with push to engage.
100mm brake extension available.

Dismantling
Remove armrests and footplates, then pull up on seat to fold.

This wheelchair can be fully customised and a full range of options are available, including back extensions, upholstery tighteners, crutch holders, stump supports, and seat belts.
